Epoxy-Coated Sensors
This is one of the simplest forms of thermistor assembly. The thermistor is first soldered to lead-wires and is then encapsulated in several
layers of epoxy to provide an environmental seal and mechanical protection.
By using our AP, AT, ET or GT series thermistors, a very wide range of R25 and B values can be offered.
Various lead-wire and connector options ensure we can provide a sensor to meet the requirements of most general air-sensing applications.
AT-11 Sensors
The AT-11 is a TPE encapsulated sensor suitable for temperatures from
-50°C/+105°C. The sensing portion is just 5mm x 6mm x 15mm long giving a fast response to thermal change. The sensor is sealed to the leads during the moulding process to ensure IP67 integrity and so can be used where moisture ingress is normally a problem.
Standard leads are 600mm long with other lengths available on request - various connector options also available.
The AT-11 utilises the 1% tolerance AT-2 series (accuracy +/-0.3K at 25°C) and so is available with R25 values from 1k to 100k
Other R25/B value combinations are available on request.

IP68 Sensors
For applications where a high water-proof integrity is required, our IP68 sensors ensure that water ingress will not be a problem.
Moulded in TPE, the sensing portion is 5mm dia. x 20mm long and is available in single or double-insulated formats.
Double-insulated versions offer a di-electric strength upto 3.75kV.
Suitable for continuous use from -50/+105°C, they can also be used to 125°C for periods upto 3000 hours.
By utilising any of our AP, AT, ET, GT or SP series thermistors, a very wide range of R25 and B values can be offered as well as accuracies down to
+/-0.15K.
