Thermal Fuses/Thermal Cutoffs

Thermal Fuses supplied by NEC Schott and PEPI - Thermal fuses (or thermal cut-offs) are "one-shot", non-resettable, temperature-sensitive devices that provides ultimate temperature protection in safety critical circuits. They are mainly defined by their temperature setting but also by the current rating, which is the maximum continuous current that can be applied.

NEC SEFUSE Thermal Fuses

The NEC Schott range of SEFUSE thermal fuses are world-leading offering a wide range of temperature and current ratings; from 70°C-240°C and upto 15A/250VAC. PEPI Bimetal Thermal Fuses

PEPI (Portage Electric Products Inc) also offer "one-shot" bimetal thermal fuses. These devices use unique bimetal technology that will not allow the switch to reset under normal ambient conditions.
There are now several models in the range including a new ceramic H7 version suitable to 260°C;
